HDI certainly wanted their Airmic exhibition stand to catch the eye. The aim of the game was lots of big ideas, carefully managed, and brought together in a single slick and attention-grabbing design.

To make this happen, we worked to document the iconic green of their brand palette within an open 4-sided space. The idea was to create a 'lounge', with a meeting space, mocktail bar, and slat walls to define the space. Ultimately, HDI wanted a more enclosed stand, to give it that lounge feel, so we built a canopy subframe, which had TVs built into the white walls.

The bar was a bespoke counter unit, crafting a curved suite where the mocktails could be mixed (courtesy of Mix & Twist!) We booked regular ice deliveries with the venue, and incorporated a curve and straight section below the countertop to accommodate a fridge.

HDI's brand header unit caught the eye from far across the busy hall. It included lightbox panels, illuminating the graphics: the swoosh moved from left to right, underscoring HDI's message: 'our people, your edge'.

And that wasn't the only cool lighting trick that HDI bought to the table!

We also included a Gobo projector, allowing us to run a programmable laser unit that configured a branded pattern via projection. This truly innovative use of lighting and projection helped HDI to stand out; we managed the technology in-house, so that everything was set up and ready to run on the day.
