Helix Autosport were keen to shift their presence at historic automotive shows such as Goodwood Festival of Speed and Silverstone Festival. This outdoor exhibition stand supported Helix’s sponsored cars and smaller pop-up spaces.

Exhibiting at outdoor events presents a unique set of challenges, which we had to consider practically from the initial design through to the final build. With factors like uneven ground and bad weather always a possibility, we had to design a stand that not only looked good, but was suited to outdoor environments too.

While logo and brand colours were visible from the bold header panels, we also used the stand to tell the story of Helix’s rich history. Graphics on the supporting pillars educated visitors on the evolution of the brand and products, boosting associations of Helix as a trusted heritage brand.

Helix's story was brought to life further by the display of clutches on the inside of the stand, vivid illustrative graphics, and the sponsored cars which could be seen both on the stand and on the track for demos. The cars on stand gave another element of interactivity and encouraged guests to visit the stand after watching the cars on-track.

Between the mix of 2D and 3D, education and entertainment, product and brand, this exhibition stand provided a strong foundation for Helix to make a splash at events that extends beyond the race track.
