As Norwich welcomes back Norwich Science Festival, the city is buzzing with curiosity, creativity and discovery.

The University of East Anglia (UEA) and Norwich Research Park are inspiring that sense of exploration.

Throughout the Festival, researchers, staff and students will be hosting a series of interactive activities on their brand-new exhibition stand, bringing cutting-edge research out of the lab and engaging young minds.

It’s a project we’re thrilled to be supporting, and we’re excited to bring the stand to life. Working closely with the university, we’ve designed and created a space where imagination thrives and science is accessible to all.

The exhibition stand features a ‘Little Lab’ at the centre, where the hands-on activities and workshops will take place. They’ll be covering a huge range of subjects, from medicine and physics to psychology and conservation.

The rest of the space features more opportunity for discovery – from the Norwich Research Park area to the STEMM Studio, an open zone for craft and creativity.

Seeing brands, exhibitors and visitors gearing up for the 10th Norwich Science Festival is special to see, and a wonderful example of events in our region bringing people together. What’s more, the Science Festival and events like it are invaluable for education – instilling curiosity and confidence in children and sparking interests in science from an early age.

It's an effort UEA strongly believes in, as Vice-Chancellor Professor David Maguire explains.

“The Norwich Science Festival provides a fantastic opportunity for UEA to showcase a wide range of scientific research to local communities. It brings new ideas and discoveries to the heart of the city, showcasing real impact, answering challenging questions and inspiring the scientists of the future. We’re delighted to continue to support this important celebration of science.”

The Norwich Science Festival is running from the 14th to 21st February 2026, at The Forum. You’ll find the UEA stand inside the Explorium – just look for the big UEA logo, you can’t miss it!
